Lauren Ditscheit, a senior setter on the Loyola University Chicago volleyball team, has overcome a neurological disorder called opsoclonus myoclonus syndrome (better known as Dancing Eyes-Dancing Feet Syndrome). The illness affects about one in every 10 million people. (more)
Seniors Lauren Felsing (Milwaukee) and Angie Porche (Valparaiso) have been named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District V Volleyball First Team, while seniors Liz Fazio (Cleveland State), Lauren Ditscheit (Loyola) and Alyse Serritella (Loyola) have earned All-District Second-Team honors.
