Karen Flagg scored a career-best 17 points as the Youngstown State women's basketball team hung on for a 58-53 win over Detroit in a scrappy contest on Thurusday night at the Beeghly Center.

The Cleveland State women's basketball team was able to erase a 14-point first half deficit and tie the contest at the end of regulation, but the Vikings came up short in overtime falling to Valparaiso, 92-84.

The UIC women's basketball team (6-14, 2-5) dropped a Horizon League road contest at #rv/rv Green Bay (17-2, 7-0) on Saturday afternoon at the Kress Center by a final score of 99-53. The Phoenix built up a 30-point halftime lead and kept their foot on the throttle to give UIC its worst loss since Dec. 12, 2003 (DePaul 106, UIC 60).

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (2/2/2013) -- Junior Senee Shearer nailed five 3-pointers en route to a game-high 19 points and the Detroit women's basketball team rallied back from an early 12-point deficit to  upend Milwaukee, 61-59, on Saturday afternoon at the KlostcheCenter.
