The Milwaukee drought for the men's basketball team came to an end Saturday night as the Raiders shot 48 percent overall and hit 16 of 19 foul shots in defeating the Panthers 64-49 at the Klotsche Center.

When JT Yoho's three-pointer bounced off the rim with less than 10 seconds left in the first overtime Thursday night, it looked like Green Bay (12-12, 6-5 HL) would escape with a hard-fought home victory. But the long rebound caromed right into the hands of Miles Dixon, who drained a three-pointer with 1.7 seconds remaining to force double overtime.

Jason Calliste scored 22 points and Detroit held off a valiant effort by the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee to claim an 82-74 win Thursday night at the Klotsche Center. The Panthers battled back from an early 16-point deficit to capture a three-point lead midway through the second half. Milwaukee then had a chance to tie the game in the final minute before Detroit (16-8, 8-3) salted away the victory with five free throws.

Loyola University Chicago (13-11, 3-8 Horizon) nearly pulled off a comeback for the ages, but Blake Allen's three-pointer with 10 seconds left lifted Youngstown State (14-10, 6-5 Horizon) to a 60-59 victory tonight at the Beeghly Center. The Ramblers had trailed by 14 points at the half and led 59-57 until Allen hit the game-winner.
