Valparaiso trimmed a nine-point halftime deficit to one midway through the second half, but the Crusaders could not pull in front and dropped a 68-58 decision at Loyola on Wednesday night.

Simone Law led three Ramblers in double figures with a game-high 19 points as Loyola was able to grind out a 68-58 win over Valparaiso tonight at Gentile Arena. Loyola (9-13, 4-5 Horizon) earns a season sweep of the Crusaders for the first time, sending Valpo to 8-14 (3-6).
