Host Milwaukee (6-20, 2-10 Horizon) shot 64 percent in the second half and held Loyola University Chicago (13-12, 3-9 Horizon) to 24 percent shooting in the final 20 minutes as the Ramblers suffered a 71-53 loss at Klotsche Center tonight. Despite the setback, Loyola had a balanced attack with four players scoring double figures.

Bryn Forbes scored 14 points and Marlin Mason had another solid game off the bench with 11 points and nine rebounds, but Detroit avenged a loss in Cleveland earlier in the season with a 92-62 victory over Cleveland State on Tuesday night in Calihan Hall.

The UIC men's basketball team gutted out an 88-83 triple overtime win over Youngstown State for its second Horizon League road victory of the season Sunday afternoon at the Beeghly Center. Senior point guard Gary Talton poured in a game-high 23 points to lead five Flames in double figures. It was UIC's longest game in more than 12 years.

Cole Darling and Jerran Young scored 18 points apiece and Wright State never trailed in the game en route to a 64-49 win over the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Saturday night at the Klotsche Center. The Raiders (17-8, 8-4) moved into a second-place tie with Detroit in the Horizon League by steadily building an advantage while limiting Milwaukee to 40 percent shooting and forcing 16 turnovers.

The Valparaiso men's basketball team scored the first 12 points of Saturday afternoon's Horizon League game at Cleveland State, and its lead never dropped under six points as the Crusaders defeated the Vikings, 80-72, in front of a national television audience on ESPN2.
