The Panthers (9-7, 2-1 Horizon) started the day with a 6-1 loss to perennial league power UIC before bouncing back for a 7-0 victory over Valparaiso. In the evening win over the Crusaders, UWM easily won the doubles point before sweeping through the singles matches.

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's and women's track and field teams combined to post seven personal records at a pair of meets Friday.UWM dominated the action at the Washington University Invitational in St. Louis, Mo.In multi-event action, senior Dan Simon won the 100m (11.31) and the 400m (50.47), both with PR's. Freshman Rutger Meister came in second in the 400 with a time of 51.46. Simon is in first place in the decathlon and is 165 points ahead of his PR pace.

Milwaukee got started on the right foot by winning two of the three doubles contests to take the lead in the match.
