The Cleveland State Vikings' softball team (14-18, 5-3) used a high-powered offensive attack to ignite a late game one win and dominating game two win Wednesday, defeating Detroit (4-34, 1-10) in a midweek Horizon League doubleheader. CSU took game one 8-7 in extra-inning comeback fashion, while winning game two 9-0 in five innings.

The Cleveland State men's tennis team had strong performances in both doubles and singles play Sunday afternoon, earning a 7-0 sweep against Valparaiso.

Senior first baseman Dara Toman made a mark in the Cleveland State record book Saturday, as a seventh inning solo home run not only ignited a comeback win in game one of a doubleheader over Horizon League foe Youngstown State, it also gave Toman the Cleveland State career RBI record.

Cleveland State shot a final round 298 and finished as the runner-up of 12 teams at the Detroit Titan Invitational that concluded on Saturday at the par-72, 7,142-yard Prestwick Village G.C.
