#HLMBB Player of the Week
Bill Wampler | Wright State | Junior | Forward | Eau Claire, Wis.
Wampler had one of his best performances in a Wright State uniform on Friday night as he helped the Raiders defeat rival-Northern Kentucky on ESPNU and pull into a tie for first-place in the #HLMBB standings. He scored a career-high 29 points, going 10-of-14 (.714) from the field, 4-for-7 (.571) from long range and 5-of-7 (.714) from the free-throw line. After trailing by five points at halftime, Wampler helped Wright State to a second-half comeback finishing with 17 points on 4-of-6 shooting. He added three rebounds, a block and a steal in 29 minutes off the bench. WSU is now tied with NKU on top of the HL standings at 10-4 with two weeks remaining in the League schedule.

#HLMBB Freshman of the Week
Darius Quisenberry | Youngstown State | Freshman | Guard | Springfield, Ohio
Quisenberry makes it three HL Freshman of the Week honors in a row as he led the Penguins to their third straight 2-0 week with a pair of wins over IUPUI and UIC. Quisenberry averaged 27.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 2.5 steals per game while shooting 45.5 percent from the floor, 42.9 percent from 3-point range and 85.7 percent from the free-throw line. He scored a career-high 37 points on 10-of-19 shooting from the floor, including three triples, and went 14-for-16 from the free-throw line in the win over UIC. His 37 points are the most by a freshman in YSU’s Division I era (since 1981-82) and the most by a freshman since Jeff Covington scored 44 in 1975. It is also tied for the fourth-highest total scored against a Horizon League opponent since joining the League. His 14 made free throws are tied for the third most in a single game in school history.
