Following a 70-59 home win over Green Bay (10-3), Youngstown State (11-3) sits at second-place in the #HLWBB standings, just a half-game behind Wright State, while the Phoenix are one game back of the Raiders, in third. Sophomore guard Chelsea Olson posted a double-double for the Penguins, totaling 19 points and 13 rebounds and adding six assists, while Sarah Cash also added 19 points for YSU. Green Bay’s Carly Mohns led all scorers with 24 points and also paced the Phoenix with seven rebounds in the road loss.

Milwaukee 78, Cleveland State 60
Milwaukee (7-6) moved up to fifth place in the League standings on Friday, topping Cleveland State (7-7), 78-60. Freshman Megan Walstad totaled 27 points to lead the Panthers while Lizzie Odegard added 13 points for MKE and Jamie Reit added 11. Three Vikings posted double-digit scoring efforts in the contest, led by 15 points from Mariah Miller.

The 2019 Little Caesars Horizon League Basketball Championships will begin March 5-6 at highest seeds and will culminate with the semifinal and championship games on March 11-12 at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
