INDIANAPOLIS – IUPUI earned its first win during #HLMBB play of the season on Friday after an exciting two-point victory on the road at UIC in front of a national-television audience on ESPNU.

The Jags jumped out to an early first-half lead and were able to hold off the Flames down the stretch for their first #HLMBB win of the season on Friday on ESPNU. Camron Justice led IUPUI with 30 points on 6-of-9 shooting from behind the arc and Jaylen Minnett added 12 points. UIC was led by Godwin Boahen with 18 points on six triples, while Tarkus Ferguson and Marcus Ottey each added 15 points.

MOTOR CITY MADNESS
The 2019 Little Caesars Horizon League Basketball Championships will begin March 5-6 and will culminate with the semifinal and championship games on March 11-12 at Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena. The 2019 men’s and women’s championship games will take place on Tuesday, March 12 with the men playing at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN or ESPN2 and the women starting at noon ET on ESPNU. Tickets for the semifinals and championship go on-sale on February 1. Once quarterfinal games conclude on March 5 and 6, fan section information for participating teams will be announced.
