1,074 Student-Athletes Recognized on Fall 2018 Academic Honor Roll

INDIANAPOLIS – 1,074 student-athletes achieved academic honor roll distinctions for the fall of 2018 semester with all ten members and 19 Horizon League sponsored sports represented.

Candidates for the Honor Roll must meet three criteria in order to qualify:
1) participation in at least one of the League’s 19 sports during the most recent (or current) season.
2) completion of three semesters (or four quarters, where applicable) as a full-time student at the same member institution.
3) a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale).

Milwaukee heads the list with 133 student-athletes on the academic honor roll. Oakland (132), IUPUI (123), Northern Kentucky (111), Green Bay (105) and Youngstown State (101) reached triple digits in student-athletes being recognized. Sports with the most representation were women’s track and field/cross country with 153 student-athletes while women’s soccer had 130 members. Men's soccer was the third highest group with 100 honorees.
