Wright State 61, Northern Kentucky 55
Wright State remained in first-place in the #HLWBB standings, improving to 5-0, with a 61-55 win at Northern Kentucky on Saturday afternoon. Michal Miller led the Raiders with 22 points while Mackenzie Taylor added 12 for WSU. Taylor Clos was the top scorer for the Norse with 16 points and Kailey Coffey recorded a double-double for NKU with 14 points and eleven rebounds.
Green Bay 60, Youngstown State 42
Green Bay picked up its third League victory on Saturday, defeating Youngstown State, 60-42, in the Kress Center. The Phoenix were led by 17-point performances by Laken James and Jen Wellnitz, as well as a double-double from Madison Wolf. Alison Smolinski led the Penguins with ten points and eleven rebounds in the loss.
Milwaukee 59, Cleveland State 53
Milwaukee earned its second #HLWBB win on Saturday, topping Cleveland State, 59-53, to pick up a second home win this week. Bre Cera was the top scorer for the Panthers with 13 points, just ahead of freshman Megan Walstad’s twelve. Mariah Miller led CSU with 13 points and Rachel Slaney posted a double-double for the Vikings.

MOTOR CITY MADNESS
The 2019 Little Caesars Horizon League Basketball Championships will begin March 5-6 and will culminate with the semifinal and championship games on March 11-12 at Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena. The 2019 men’s and women’s championship games will take place on Tuesday, March 12 with the men playing at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN or ESPN2 and the women starting at noon ET on ESPNU. Tickets for the semifinals and championship go on-sale on February 1. Once quarterfinal games conclude on March 5 and 6, fan section information for participating teams will be announced.
