Three #HLMBB Programs Earn NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards

The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced the sixth annual Team Academic Excellence Awards on Wednesday. Three Horizon League institutions, IUPUI, Northern Kentucky, and Wright State, were among the honorees.

These awards, created by the NABC Committee on Academics, recognize men’s basketball programs with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0 for the 2017-18 season. To earn a NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, institutions must count the grade point average of all men’s basketball student-athletes who competed during the 2017-18 season.
