First-round NIT matchup pits No. 7 @NKUNorseMBB against No. 2 Louisville

(March 11, 2018) — Regular-Season Horizon League Champion Northern Kentucky earned the No. 7 seed and will play No. 2 Louisville in the opening round of the NIT. The Norse and Cardinals are set to play on Tuesday, March 13 at 7:00 p.m. (ET) on ESPN.
NKU currently sits at 22-9 overall and won the Horizon League with a 15-3 overall record. Louisville is 20-13 overall, finishing tied for eighth place in the ACC with a 9-9 conference mark.
This is the first time Northern Kentucky and Louisville have met on the hardwood in non-exhibition play.
