#HLWBB Players of the Week: Feb. 19

INDIANAPOLIS- Green Bay’s Jessica Lindstrom led #HLWBB with 18.0 rebounds per game in this week, adding 22.0 points per game. Lindstrom is the Horizon League Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the third time this season. IUPUI freshman Macee Williams averaged 13.5 points per game and 11.0 rebounds per game, earning her Freshman of the Week honors for the sixth time this season.

Jessica Lindstrom led the Phoenix in scoring and rebounding in both games this past weekend against Cleveland State and Youngstown State. The senior averaged 22.0 PPG and 18.0 RPG and nearly broke the program record for rebounds in a single game against Cleveland State, securing 21 in the matchup. Although Lindstrom will have to settle for second place on the single-game rebounding list, the native of Superior, Wis., did manage to move into first place on the program's career double-doubles list with 36 after the weekend, passing All-American and WNBA Draft Pick Julie Wojta's mark of 35.

Williams averaged a double-double over the weekend with 13.5 points per game and 11 rebounds per game. Against Oakland, Williams scored 13 points and pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds including a career-high 10 on the defensive end. Against Detroit Mercy, Williams scored 14 points, to bring her total to four-straight double figure games. The freshman continues to lead the Horizon League, and is fourth in the NCAA, in field goal percentage, hitting 65.3% of her shots on the season.
