INDIANAPOLIS — After leading IUPUI to an overtime road win at Milwaukee,
Evan Hall was named Horizon League men’s basketball Player of the Week. Meanwhile, Wright State’s
Loudon Love earned his league-best seventh Freshman of the Week award.

Hall had 20 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocked shots in the Jaguars’ lone game of the week – a 76-71 overtime win at Milwaukee. The effort marked his second double-double of the season and fourth of his career. Meanwhile, the season-best 20-point outing was just one point shy of matching his career high, and the four blocked shots were a career-high. Hall connected on 10-of-15 field goal attempts in helping IUPUI to just its second road win of the season. It was the first time this season the Hindman, Ky., led IUPUI in scoring as he scored nearly three times his season scoring average in the victory. Hall also finished with two steals and an assist.

Love led the Raiders to a tie for first place as Wright State defeated Northern Kentucky, 69-67, on Friday night. The Geneva, Ill., native had 15 points, six rebounds, two steals, one assist, and one block as he shot 7-of-12 from the field. This week’s accolade marks the seventh time this season Love has been named Freshman of the Week.
