Meanwhile, spurred by a double-double by Anthony Wright (15 points, 12 rebounds) and a career-high scoring mark from Stefan Kenic (19 points), Cleveland State won its second-consecutive game, defeating Detroit Mercy, 75-72.

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Stefan Kenic scored a career-high 19 points and Anthony Wright tallied his second career double-double as Cleveland State won its second straight game with a 75-72 win over Detroit Mercy on Wednesday night in the Wolstein Center. CSU improved to 8-20 overall and 5-10 in the Horizon League, while the Titans fell to 7-20 overall (3-11 HL).

Covington's Putback at the Buzzer Gives Penguins 75-73 Win over Oakland

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Garrett Covington had a catch-and-shoot putback at the buzzer to send the Youngstown State men's basketball team to a 75-73 win over Oakland at Beeghly Center on Wednesday night. Covington caught Braun Hartfield's miss and got his winning shot off with 0.1 seconds left to give the Penguins their second straight Horizon League victory. YSU scored the final nine points of the game after trailing 73-66 with 2:30 remaining, and seven of those points came from Covington.
