(Feb. 1, 2018) — Wright State rallied from a 15-point second-half deficit versus Cleveland State to take a four-point lead with 6:12 remaining; however Cleveland State closed the game on a 15-8 run to upset the first-place Raiders, 77-74. The Vikings connected on a school-record-tying 14 3-pointers, including senior guard Bobby Word who shot 50 percent from beyond the arc (5-of-10) en route to scoring a team-high 18 points. Meanwhile, Northern Kentucky drew even with Wright State in the league standings with a 95-85 win over Youngstown State. Junior forward Drew McDonald recorded his Horizon League-leading 11
th double-double with a 26-point, 16-rebound effort to lead the Norse to their second-consecutive win.
Vikings hit 14 threes in win over league-leading Wright State

CLEVELAND — Cleveland State tied a single game program record with 14 three-pointers as the Vikings knocked off Horizon League leading Wright State, 77-74, on Thursday night at the Wolstein Center. The Vikings moved to 6-18 overall and 3-8 in the League, while WSU fell to 17-7 overall (9-2 HL).

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Drew McDonald's 26-point, 16-rebound double-double led Northern Kentucky men's basketball to its fifth-straight Horizon League road win with a 95-85 victory at Youngstown State. NKU moves to 16-7 overall and 9-2 in the Horizon League. Youngstown State falls to 6-18 on the season and 4-7 in the League.
