INDIANAPOLIS – Green Bay junior ShanQuan Hemphill averaged 21 points and shot over 70 percent from the field and Northern Kentucky senior Drew McDonald recorded a triple-double and added 21 points in two games to be named Nike® #HLMBB Co-Player of the Week, while Oakland’s Braden Norris hit four 3-pointers and dished out eight assists at Xavier to earn Nike® #HLMBB Freshman of the Week as the Horizon League announced its men’s basketball weekly honors on Monday.

ShanQuan Hemphill | Green Bay | Junior | Gary, Ind. | Forward
Hemphill, who goes by the nickname Tank, led Green Bay to a perfect 2-0 week with impressive wins over Northern Illinois (85-83) and Belmont (100-92) in non-conference action. The high-flying forward averaged a team-best 21.0 points per game and 6.5 rebounds in the two home victories, shooting just over 73 percent (19-for-26) from the field. He poured in a career-high 25 points and notched his first career double-double with 10 rebounds against NIU, and followed that performance with 17 points against undefeated Belmont. He has scored in double-figures in five-straight games and is now tied for the team lead in scoring with 14.5 points this season. For the week, Hemphill ranked fourth in points, fourth in field-goal percentage and eighth in rebounds to go along with five steals.

Drew McDonald | Northern Kentucky | Senior | Cold Spring, Ky. | Forward
McDonald posted just the sixth triple-double in the nation this year and only the second in Northern Kentucky’s history when he registered 12 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists in NKU’s 93-70 road win at Morehead State. He followed with a game-high 21 points, adding five rebounds and three assists in Northern Kentucky’s 78-60 triumph over UMBC on Friday night. For the week, McDonald averaged 16.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 7.0 assists, while shooting 61 percent (11-of-18) from the floor, 56 percent (5-of-9) from three and went perfect at the charity stripe (6-for-6). The Lou Henson Award Watch List selection also moved up to seventh all-time in scoring at Northern Kentucky with 1,602 points and 50th on the Horizon League all-time scoring list, and is currently second all-time in rebounds with 850, 10 away from setting a new Norse career mark.

#HLMBB Freshman of the Week
Braden Norris | Oakland | Freshman | Hilliard, Ohio | Guard
Norris continued his hot shooting from 3-point range, going 4-for-6 from beyond the arc and finishing with 14 points and eight assists on Saturday in a 73-63 loss at Xavier. He is now 18-of-22 (82 percent) from long range in his last five games. The freshman guard also matched a career high with three rebounds. Norris, who committed just one turnover in 37 minutes of play, leads the Horizon League and ranks sixth in the NCAA in assist-to-turnover ratio at 5.43.
