Nike #HLWBB Players of the Week (December 23)

INDIANAPOLIS – Milwaukee junior Lizzie Odegard posted a career-high 20 points against Florida State this week, adding four rebounds and three assists to earn #HLWBB Nike® Player of the Week honors. Cleveland State freshman Savanna Crockett posted yet another double-double against Bradley this week, totaling 14 rebounds and ten points. Crockett is the #HLWBB Nike® Freshman of the Week for the third time this season.

Going up against one of the top teams in the country in Florida State, Lizzie Odegard was up to the task. The junior was on fire - connecting from both behind the arc and in the paint and finishing with a career-high 20 points - surpassing her previous best of 14. Odegard also registered four rebounds, three assists and one block in 29 minutes off the bench.

Crockett posted her sixth double-double of the season with 10 points and a season-high tying 14 rebounds against Bradley. She also recorded two assists, two blocked shots and three steals against the Braves and is now averaging a double-double on the season with 11.8 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. Crockett leads the team with 16 total blocked shots this year.
