(Jan. 25, 2018) — Green Bay limited Cleveland State to 28-percent shooting in successfully defending its home court, 66-44. The 44 points were the fewest points the Phoenix have allowed to a Division I opponent this season. Meanwhile, intrastate rival Milwaukee also earned a home win, besting Youngstown State, 66-55. The Panthers limited YSU to 32-percent shooting, while connecting on 25 of their 45 field goal attempts (56 percent).
 
Stellar first half propels Phoenix past Cleveland State, 66-44
GREEN BAY, Wis. — Green Bay outscored visiting Cleveland State, 32-13, in the first half of play on Thursday night, en route to clinching a commanding 66-44 victory. Senior guard Khalil Small tallied a game-high 25 points as the Phoenix improved to 4-7 in league play.

Panthers shoot 56 percent in 66-55 win over Youngstown State
MILWAUKEE — Spurred by 56-percent shooting, Milwaukee improved to 4-6 in Horizon League play on Thursday night, as the Panthers bested Youngstown State, 66-55. Bryce Nze and Jeremiah Bell scored 17 points apiece for Milwaukee, with Nze misfiring on just one of his eight shot attempts.
