INDIANAPOLIS- Cleveland State’s Olivia Voskuhl helped the Vikings to a 2-0 start to league play. The senior posted an average of 20 points and seven rebounds per game this week, earning her Horizon League Women’s Basketball Player of the Week honors for the first time this season. NKU’s Grace White put up 15 points and eight rebounds in a tough matchup with Milwaukee this week. White is the Freshman of the Week for the first time in her career.

Olivia Voskuhl averaged a team-best 20.0 points per game through the first week of #HLWBB play. Voskuhl recorded 19 points in the league-opener against Oakland and then followed that up with a career-high 21 points against Detroit Mercy. The redshirt senior helped Cleveland State to a 2-0 start to league play and a 10-3 overall record on the season. The Kentucky native also averaged team-best 7.0 rebounds per game on the week and posted a .692 field goal percentage on the week going 18-for-26, including a 10-for-13 performance against Detroit Mercy. Voskuhl also recorded five steals, two assists and one blocked shot in the two games.

Though she played one game due to being sidelined by a minor injury late in the game against Milwaukee, White had a career scoring night against the Panthers. The 5-8 guard poured in 15 points to lead the Norse and also was NKU’s top rebounder with eight boards, helping keep the League’s top rebounding margin team to a 35-27 deficit. White also added three steals to pace the team on the defensive end.
