(Jan. 11, 2018) — Wright State senior and Cincinnati native, Grant Benzinger, notched the second 30-plus-point game of his career on Thursday night as the Raiders earned sole possession of first place in the Horizon League with a hard-fought, 84-81 road win at 2017 Horizon League tournament champion, Northern Kentucky. Benzinger led all scorers with 31 points on 8-of-13 shooting, including 4-of-7 marksmanship from beyond the arc and 11-of-13 shooting from the charity stripe. NKU’s Lavone Holland II tallied a team-high 22 points for the Norse in the tightly-contested game, which featured 11 lead changes and 14 ties.
