Northern Kentucky Falls in Heartbreaker to Austin Peay, 53-52
HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, KY. (NKUNorse.com) – The Northern Kentucky women's basketball team fell to Austin Peay on Tuesday evening by a final score of 53-52. The Governors hit a shot with 3.9 seconds left in the contest to get the victory and extend their winning streak to seven games. NKU sits at 1-6 on the season, while Austin Peay advances to 7-1.

Big Second Quarter Lifts Akron to 75-58 Win Over Youngstown State
AKRON, OHIO (YSUSports.com) –Akron outscored the Youngstown State women's basketball team 21-5 in the second period and made 13 3-pointers to beat the Penguins 75-58 on Tuesday at James A. Rhodes Arena.
 
Indiya Benjamin scored 14 of her career-high 25 points in the first period to give the Penguins a 24-17 lead after 10 minutes. Akron scored the first 14 points of the second period and held the lead the rest of the night.
