GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com)  Taking the floor against a ranked opponent for the third-straight game, the Green Bay women's basketball team defended its home court against No. 23/23 Marquette with overwhelming defense and clutch plays down the stretch. Redshirt Freshman Karly Murphy notched the first double-double of her career with 11 points and 12 rebounds as the Phoenix downed the Golden Eagles, 63-55.

Penguins Force Overtime at American
WASHINGTON, D.C (YSUSports.com). – The Youngstown State women's basketball team rallied from a nine-point deficit in the fourth period to force overtime but ultimately fell 78-72 at American on Saturday afternoon.

Bradley Takes Down Flames
PEORIA, ILL. (UICFlames.com) – UIC fell to 3-3 on the season with a 58-48 loss to Bradley (4-3) Saturday afternoon in Peoria.  Behind strong play by Gabryelle Johnson, UIC erased a 10 point deficit and tied the game on two occasions in the third quarter.  But they were never able to stake themselves to the lead, and Bradley used a big run at the beginning of the fourth quarter to put the game out of the Flames' reach.
