Flames Rally to Down North Texas
CHICAGO (UICFlames.com) – Gabryelle Johnson had a double-double and contributed in all phases of the game, and Brittany Byrd scored 24 points including four free throws in the final 30 seconds, as UIC claimed its fourth straight win with a 70-67 triumph over North Texas.  Down by 11 points late in the first half, the Flames increased their defensive intensity after halftime and held North Texas to only 28 points after the break.
