INDIANAPOLIS — Seniors Bobby Word and Kenny Carpenter combined to score 36 points to help lead Cleveland State to a commanding, 89-56 win over Notre Dame College (D-II) on Sunday afternoon. Later in the day, Northern Kentucky’s Drew McDonald and Carson Williams tallied 21 points apiece in the Norse’s 91-63 victory over Ohio Valley Conference opponent, Eastern Kentucky.

(Courtesy of NKUNorse.com) — HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — The Northern Kentucky men's basketball team rolled past Eastern Kentucky on Sunday evening by a final score of 91-63. Drew McDonald and Carson Williams combined to shoot 19-of-23 (83 percent) from the floor and score 44 points in lifting NKU to 7-3 overall and 5-0 at BB&T Arena. EKU falls to 4-6 on the year.

Kirby tallies career-high 16 in Jaguars' 86-61 loss at No. 21 Purdue
