Titans Drop Close Contest at Kent State, 82-74
KENT, OHIO (DetroitTitans.com) – The University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball team shot 43.5 percent from the floor and three Titans had at least 17 points in the contest, but the team fell in a high-scoring, back-and-forth affair at Kent State on Thursday night, 82-74.

Flames Chop Down Sycamores, 55-46
CHICAGO (UICFlames.com) – UIC used a big third quarter to pull ahead, and kept their poise down the stretch in a 55-46 win over Indiana State Thursday night at UIC Pavilion. Brittany Byrd led all scorers with 17 points, including 3-of-4 shooting from three point land.  Teodora Zagorac posted career highs with 16 rebounds and six assists.
