INDIANAPOLIS — Four Oakland players, including three of the team's four redshirt seniors, scored 20 or more points on Thursday night as the Golden Grizzlies bested Texas Southern, 97-87, to improve to 4-3 on the season. Redshirt senior Martez Walker matched sophomore teammate and Detroit native, Brailen Neely, with a team-best 22 points, while fellow redshirt seniors Nick Daniels and Jalen Hayes finished with 21 and 20 points, respectively.

(Courtesy of GoldenGrizzlies.com) — ROCHESTER, Mich. — Brailen Neely recorded his first career double-double by scoring a career high 22 points and dished out a career high 13 assists as the Oakland men's basketball team took down Texas Southern (0-7) 97-87 Thursday night at the O'rena. Four Golden Grizzlies scored 20 points or more for the first time in the Division I era.
