INDIANAPOLIS — Northern Kentucky, Cleveland State, and Green Bay each earned victories on Friday, with NKU and CSU’s wins coming at neutral sites. Green Bay’s margin of victory of NCAA Division-III Lakeland was an astonishing 71 points (98-27). Seven of the Horizon League’s 10 member schools will be in action on Saturday.

NASSAU, Bahamas – The Northern Kentucky men's basketball team is moving on to the semifinals of The Islands of the Bahamas Showcase with an 87-78 win over JMU on Friday evening. Lavone Holland II led all scorers with 24 points. He also contributed five assists and three rebounds.

Vikings tie school record with 14 threes to give Felton first win at CSU

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Kenny Carpenter scored a career-high 26 points and notched his second double-double in three games and Cleveland State tied the school record with 14 three pointers to give head coach Dennis Felton his first win at CSU with an 80-56 victory over Coppin State on Friday night in the Wolstein Center. The Vikings improved to 1-2 this year, while the Eagles fell to 0-4.

Green Bay breaks margin of victory record with 98-27 win over Lakeland

GREEN BAY, Wis. --- The Green Bay men's basketball team needed to find its shooting and confidence in its 2017-18 home-opener, and did just that with a 98-27 dismantling of Lakeland on Friday night at the Resch Center. The 71-point victory by the Phoenix (1-1) sets a new program-record for margin of victory, while the 71 rebounds sets both a conference and program record as well.

Milwaukee falls to Concordia-St. Paul, 69-55
MILWAUKEE, Wis. - Milwaukee opened the three-team Black and Gold Shootout with a 69-55 setback to NCAA Division-II Concordia-St. Paul on Friday. Concordia-St. Paul shot 56 percent from the field and 50 percent from beyond the arc (10-of-20) while limiting Milwaukee to 30-percent shooting. Milwaukee will conclude the tournament on Sunday when the Panthers host Elon at 4:30 p.m. ET.

IUPUI falls in the final seconds at Eastern Illinois, 80-79
