Flames Take Season Opener 56-46
(Courtesy of UICFlames.com)- The UIC Flames (1-0) bounced back from a slow first half and outscored Bethel (1-3) 24-7 in the third quarter en route to a 66-46 win on Opening Day at UIC Pavilion. Taylor Toney had a game high 22 points. Gabryelle Johnson had 11 rebounds. Teodora Zagorac scored the first six points of the second half as UIC had to rally from a one-point deficit.

Titans Fall on Road in Season Opener at Miami
(Courtesy of DetroitTitans.com)- OXFORD, Ohio (11/10/2017) -- Senior forward Brianne Cohen scored 22 points for the Titans, but the University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball team dropped its season opener on the road Friday afternoon to Miami (Ohio), 91-64. The game was played in front of 1,678 fans at Millett Hall in Oxford.

Hall Guides Jags to Season Opening Win
(Courtesy of IUPUIJags.com) - IUPUI earned its first season-opening win since 2013 with a 54-48 win against Northern Iowa on Friday (Nov. 10). It was also the first time since 2013 the Jags have won their first road game. The Jags (1-0) had four players in double figures, led by junior Sydney Hall who finished with 16 points. Fellow junior Tamya Sims and freshman Macee Williams each had 11 points and Danielle Lawrence added 10.

Drake Outlasts Milwaukee, 77-73, in WNIT Opener
Milwaukee opened its 2017-18 campaign on Friday, losing a tight, entertaining battle at Drake. The Panthers fell 77-73. Steph Kostowicz led the way for Milwaukee, putting up 26 points and adding 12 rebounds, opening the season with a double-double.
