Joblin, Karoub Win Weekly Tennis Honors

Wright State junior Hayden Joblin (Brooklyn, NZ) and Detroit sophomore Chloe Karoub (Farmington Hills, Mich.) have been named the Horizon League tennis Players of the Week. It is the first weekly award of the season for either player.

Wright State's Greene, Milwaukee's Long Win Weekly Baseball Awards

Wright State outfielder Kieston Greene (Decatur, Ill.) has been named the Horizon League baseball Player of the Week while Milwaukee senior Jake Long (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.) earned Pitcher of the Week honors. It is the first award of the season for either player.

Wright State to Host Tulsa in CBI Opening Round

DAYTON, Ohio -- The Wright State men's basketball team will enter the post-season for the third time as a Division I school as the Raiders will host Tulsa Wednesday night at the Wright State Nutter Center as part of the College Basketball Invitational presented by Buick.  Game time will be announced.

Valparaiso Rallies to Win First Horizon League Men's Basketball Championship

It only made sense in a tournament that saw four games ended by buzzer beaters that the Horizon League championship game would come down to the final minutes. And so it did, before the No. 1 seed Valparaiso Crusaders used an 18-4 run over the final five minutes to overcome a six-point deficit and earn a 62-54 win over No. 3 Wright State.

No. 1 Valpo Hosts No. 3 Wright State in HLMBB Championship Game

It's hard to know what to expect from the championship game of a tournament that has already featured four buzzer beaters. Just ask the No. 1 seed Crusaders, who advanced to the championship game thanks to Ryan Broekhoff's 3-pointer at the horn. Or No. 3 Wright State, which advanced when Miles Dixon managed to get off a baseline jumper with time expiring.

Buzzer Beaters are the Flavor of the Night as Valpo, Wright State Pick Up Thrilling Wins

In what can only be described as the most thrilling Horizon League Men's Basketball Semifinals in recent memory, both No. 3 Wright State and No. 1 Valparaiso came away with buzzer-beating victories as Raiders guard Miles Dixon hit a short jump to upset No. 2 Detroit and Crusaders forward Ryan Broekhoff drilled a 3-pointer to down No. 4 Green Bay.

Valpo, Detroit Return to Action in Semifinal Round Against Green Bay, Wright State

No. 1 Valparaiso and No. 2 Detroit return to action for the first time since the last day of the regular season to face No. 4 Green Bay and No. 3 Wright State, respectively, in the semifinal round of the Horizon League Men's Basketball Tournament at the ARC.
