INDIANAPOLIS -- Honoring student-athletes for their success both in competition and in the classroom, the Horizon League announced its 2011 Fall Academic All-League Teams on Monday. A total of 54 student-athletes from five fall sports were honored in balloting by the League’s faculty athletics representatives and sports information directors.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Four Horizon League women's soccer programs were recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) with the organization's Team Academic Award.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Continuing as a pioneer in the streaming of live sporting events, the Horizon League, in partnership with WebStream Productions, has announced that “Horizon League Network Live,” the conference’s newest mobile application, is now available in the iTunes App Store. The Horizon League is the only NCAA Division I athletics conference in the country to offer its entire live video collection via a mobile application.

Raider Roundball recently sat down with the Horizon League's Stephanie Jarvis to discuss one of the hot-button topics in intercollegiate athletics: compliance. Jarvis joined the League in 1999 as the Director of Compliance, now handles all legal and compliance issures for the League and serves as the advisor to the Horizon League Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
