Cleveland State, Valpo Tabbed for TV Matchups in Sears BracketBusters X

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Horizon League earned two television games in the 2012 BracketBusters, ESPN announced on Jan. 30. Cleveland State, the fifth-rated home team in the event, hosts Drexel, while Valparaiso will head to Los Angeles to meet Loyola Marymount.

Horizon League Announces Academic All-League Teams for Fall Sports

INDIANAPOLIS -- Honoring student-athletes for their success both in competition and in the classroom, the Horizon League announced its 2011 Fall Academic All-League Teams on Monday. A total of 54 student-athletes from five fall sports were honored in balloting by the League’s faculty athletics representatives and sports information directors.

Road Teams Continue to Rule Weekend in Women's Basketball

It was a good weekend to be on the road if you were a Horizon League women’s basketball team. On Thursday, three of the four conference games were won the visiting team, and the trend continued on Saturday as road teams captured four of the five games. Overall, seven of the nine league games played this weekend were won by the visiting team.
