FAIRBORN — His trademark as a runner — first in high school where he made four trips to the state meet, then at Wilmington College and now at Wright State — has been his big kick at the end of a race.
“He’s always been able to do that,” Carolyn McElfresh said of her son, Dylan. “When it’s getting tough for everybody, he always seems to be able to see the finish line. He sees everything that’s in front of him and comes up with the kick to get through it.
“I don’t know how he does it, but it’s really something to see.”
