Holmes Notches 1,000th Dig As Vikings Sweep YSU
After getting out to a slow start during the opening set, Cleveland State was finally able to gain a lead at the 12-11 mark after posting five straight points, including back-to-back kills from Christina Toth to end the run. The two teams then traded points until YSU was able to regain the advantage at 17-14, before an 8-0 CSU run put the Vikings back on top at 22-17. The Vikings were then able to close out the set with a kill from Alexis Middlebrooks and a YSU error, earning the early 1-0 match lead.
Panthers Storm Back To Down Raiders
The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee made a strong comeback after a shaky start for a dramatic 3-2 win over Wright State University Friday evening from the Klotsche Center. Playing in their first match at home in over a month, UWM (4-12, 2-2 Horizon) dropped the opening set to WSU (11-7, 0-3 Horizon) before storming back for the win, 18-25, 25-16, 25-23, 21-25, 15-11.

Keely Creamer led five players with double digits in kills as the Northern Kentucky University volleyball team picked up its first Horizon League victory, defeating Green Bay in a five-set thriller on Friday evening.
Oakland Topples Valparaiso on the road in four sets
Ciara Schultz finished the match with 50 assists, 10 digs, five kills and five blocks, while Alli Gutschow tallied a career-best 27 digs and Melissa Deatsch collected a team-high 16 kills with 20 digs as the Oakland women's volleyball team defeated Valparaiso on the road in four sets Friday night from the Athletics-Recreation Center. The Golden Grizzlies improve to 2-1 in league play as the Crusaders suffer only their third loss of the season and first in league play.
