INDIANAPOLIS -- Green Bay junior Kayla Tetschlag has been named Horizon League Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the period of Dec. 28-Jan. 3. The selection marks Tetschlag's third career weekly honor from the League office and her second this season.

Tetschlag, a forward from Sheboygan, Wis., averaged 23.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists in a pair of victories last week. She knocked down 15-of-28 (.535) from the field and 15-of-16 (.937) from the free-throw stripe.

Green Bay kept its perfect season alive with wins over Southern Illinois on Monday (75-64) and Cleveland State on Saturday (78-60). The #22/20 Phoenix, 12-0 overall and 1-0 in Horizon League action, has now won 30 consecutive regular-season contests.

Tetschlag ranks among League leaders in points (1st, 15.8), field-goal percentage (8th, .504), free-throw accuracy (8th, .855) and rebounds (10th, 6.3) through 12 games this season.

Tetschlag will become eligible for the Horizon League Network's "People's Choice" award, which is announced each Thursday afternoon. Log on to www.HorizonLeagueNetwork.tv to vote.

Green Bay will play three conference tilts this week. The Phoenix travels to Youngstown State on Monday (7:05 p.m. ET) before hosting Wright State on Thursday (8 p.m.) and Detroit on Saturday (2 p.m.).
