The 2010 Tennis Championships continued indoors on Saturday as the rain persisted. In men's play, No. 2 UIC edged Wright State, 4-3, while No. 1 Cleveland State defeated Butler, 4-0. The Flames will face the Vikings on Sunday for the third straight year as CSU looks to grab its third consecutive title.
On the women's side, top-seeded UIC defeated Butler, 4-1, while Detroit upset No. 2 Cleveland State 4-1. The Titans take on the Flames on Sunday in a rematch of the 2009 championship. UIC is seeking its ninth-consecutive League title under Head Coach Shannon Tully, and 14th in a row. UDM is making its second ever finals appearance in the last two years.
The men's championship match is set for 9 a.m. ET; the women hit the courts at 12:30 p.m. ET.
