Men's Soccer Player of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Horizon League announced today that Valparaiso senior goalkeeper Ryan Schwarz has been named the Men's Soccer Player of the Week.

Schwarz stopped six shots in 1-0 win at UNLV on Saturday.  The 2007 and 2009 Horizon League Goalkeeper of the Year, Schwarz kept the Crusaders in the match, in which they were outshot, 16-5, by the Rebels.

With his 14th career shutout, Schwarz moved into a tie for first place all time in the Crusader record book.
