INDIANAPOLIS - In an effort to better brand the conference and its 10 member institutions, the Horizon League recently unveiled a permanent sign that resides on the southwest corner of the Pan Am Plaza building in downtown Indianapolis.

"Indianapolis and the Pan Am Plaza continues to be a welcoming home for the Horizon League headquarters." said League Commissioner Jonathan B. LeCrone.  The opportunity to connect with the Indianapolis community was made possible by our friends at Coastal Partners LLC."

The 30-foot-wide by 4-foot-tall sign is backlit by LED lights so onlookers can view it at night.  During the day the lights automatically turn off as the sunlight hits a series of sensors powering off the lights and changing the letters from white to black.

Residents and visitors (even Final Four patrons) of Indianapolis can view the sign from Lucas Oil stadium and from Interstate 70.

The Horizon League resides in suite 500 of the Pan Am Plaza building.
