Steph Kostowicz / Milwaukee / Junior / Forward / Franklin, Wisconsin

Steph Kostowicz was a big contributor in Milwaukee’s come-from-behind win over North Dakota State. The junior notched 26 points on 11-17 shooting from the floor to up her season average to 18.3 ppg. The forward also tallied eight rebounds while also tacking on four blocks and two steals on the defensive end.

This is the Kostowicz’s first Player of the Week honor and the Panthers second consecutive honor with Jenny Lindner picking up the award last week.

Anja Marinkovic / Detroit Mercy / Freshman / Guard / Toronto, Ontario

Marinkovic recorded her best shooting performance on the year against Minnesota by scorching the Golden Gophers with 29 points on seven triples. The guard’s 3-point shooting help the Titan’s break the school record for the most 3-point baskets made (16) in a single game.
