INDIANAPOLIS - Detroit junior Pat Liederbach, Loyola senior Michael Jarman, Loyola sophomore Devin Gosberry, and Wright State freshman Erica Kemp have been named Horizon League Track and Field Athletes of the Week for the period of Jan. 25-31.

Liederbach, a native of Petoskey, Mich., receives the men's track honor after placing second in the mile (4:13.54) on Friday at the Grand Valley State Open in Allendale, Mich. His time was the fourth-fastest in Detroit history.

Jarman, a native of Felicity, Ohio, picks up the men's field award after taking third in the weight throw (19.32 meters) on Friday at the Indiana Relays in Bloomington, Ind. His toss broke his own school record and landed just short of the NCAA Provisional Qualifying mark (19.50 meters).

Gosberry, a native of Munster, Ind., garners the women's track honor after winning the 200 meter (25.34) and placing fourth in the 400 meter (56.22) on Friday.

Kemp, a native of Troy, Ohio, collects the women's field award after winning the pole vault (3.65 meters) on Friday at the Indiana Relays. Kemp has set Loyola's school record in the event in three consecutive meets.

Detroit is idle until Feb. 12 when the Titans revisit Allendale, Mich., for the Grand Valley State Big Meet. Loyola returns to action on Friday when the Raiders head to Bloomington, Ind. for the Keck Invite. Wright State heads to Bowling Green, Ohio, on Feb. 12 for the All-Ohio Indoor Championships.
