INDIANAPOLIS - Butler senior Rob Mullett, Milwaukee senior Quinn Mongoven, Butler freshman Lauren McKillop, and Youngstown State senior Robyn Ray have been named Horizon League Track and Field Athletes of the Week for the period of Jan. 11-17.
Mullett, a native of Brighton, U.K., receives the men's track honor after winning the 800-meter (1:52.23) on Friday at the Notre Dame Opener in South Bend, Ind.
Mongoven, a native of Twin Lakes, Wis., picks up the men's field award after winning the high jump (2.12 meters) on Saturday at the Badger Quad in Madison Wis. Mongoven's mark tied Milwaukee's school record.
McKillop, a native of Matraville, Australia, garners the women's track honor after taking first place in the mile run (4:56.50) on Friday.
Ray, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, collects the women's field award after placing fourth in the triple jump (11.02 meters) and fifth in the high jump (1.55 meters) on Saturday at the Doug Raymond Invitational in Kent, Ohio. She was the only member of the YSU's women's team to record two top-five finishes.
