KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Four Horizon League women's soccer programs were recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) with the organization's Team Academic Award.

The award, given annually to schools with a composite grade point average of 3.00 for the academic year, included both fall and spring semesters of a given year, making the award for the 2010-2011 academic year. Butler, Loyola, Valparaiso and Wright State earned honors on the men's side, with the Valparaiso and Wright State programs collecting awards in both the men's and women's programs.

218 men's programs across all NCAA Divisions earned recognition.
