INDIANAPOLIS -- Seniors Lauren Felsing (University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee) and Angie Porche (Valparaiso University) have been named to the CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District V Volleyball First Team, while seniors Liz Fazio (Cleveland State University), Lauren Ditscheit (Loyola University Chicago) and Alyse Serritella (Loyola) have earned All-District Second-Team honors.
Felsing, a libero from Hartland, Wis., owns a 3.97 grade point average as a marketing major at Milwaukee. Felsing has helped the Panthers to a 9-14 record in 2009. She places second in the Horizon League with 4.70 digs per set.
Porche, an outside hitter from Lynwood, Ill., owns a 3.76 GPA as a psychology major at Valparaiso. Porche has helped the Crusaders to an 18-8 record this season. She ranks second in the League with 3.79 kills per set.
Fazio, an outside hitter from Coventry, Ohio, owns a 3.87 GPA as a biology major at Cleveland State. Fazio has helped the Vikings to a 23-6 mark this year. She places third in the conference with 3.66 kills per set.
Ditscheit, a setter from Wauwatosa, Wis., owns a 3.82 GPA as an advertising and public relations major at Loyola. Ditscheit has helped the Ramblers to an 11-15 record in 2009. She ranks sixth in the League 8.88 assists per set.
Serritella, a libero from Darien, Ill., owns a 3.62 GPA as a psychology major at Loyola. She is currently tied for third in the conference with 4.50 digs per set.
