Butler and UIC strike out breast cancer Release  Horizon League · April 14, 2010

Two Horizon League softball teams supported the cure on Sunday when UIC traveled to Butler for a "Strike Out Breast Cancer" game. Both squads showed their support for the cause by wearing pink uniforms and posed for a group picture before the contest.

Freshman pitcher Jenny Esparza struck out 17 batters to help Butler post a 3-2 win over UIC in 10 innings.
