Detroit Mercy Women's Basketball

Hometown: Canton, Michigan

Reynolds averaged 17 points shooting 46 percent from the field during the Titans’ three-game home stand. The 5’10, guard strongest performance came against Youngstown State stuffing the box score with 24 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and a block in 35 minutes of play. Detroit Mercy went 3-0 on the week and are now in third place in League standings. The native of Canton, Mich., became the first player in Titan history to achieve 1,500 points and 500 assists in a career.

Green Bay Women's Basketball

Mehryn Kraker

Medium

Hometown: West Allis, Wisconsin

Kraker led Green Bay in points each of the team’s two games. In their tilt against Detroit Mercy, the senior tallied 14 points, five rebounds and five assists as the Phoenix edged out the Titans. The guard had a particularly strong shooting performance in Green Bay’s defeat over Oakland. In 32 minutes of play, Kraker shot 12-15 from the field hitting all three triples attempted for 29 points.


Youngstown State Women's Basketball

Morgan Brunner

Medium

Hometown: Wheeling, West Virginia

In her first two career starts, Brunner averaged 18.5 points in 33.5 minutes of action lifting the Penguins to two wins. Against UIC, the walk-on freshman totaled 20 points and eight rebounds in her debut as a starter. Just two days later, the native of Wheeling, W. Va., scored 17 points, grabbed five boards and dished out four helpers versus Valparaiso. For the week, the guard shot 13-24 from the field including 10-17 from behind the arc.

Reynolds tallied season-bests with 32 points and 10 rebounds in Detroit Mercy’s Metro Series rivalry game against Oakland. The guard’s 32 points came off of 10-14 shooting from the floor, 3-4 from distance, and 9-10 from the charity stripe in 38 minutes of play. 20 of the senior’s 32 points came in the second half as the Titans used a 15-2 run at the start of the fourth quarter to take the game and bragging rights.


Milwaukee Women's Basketball

Lizzie Odegard

Medium

Hometown: Minnetonka, Minnesota

Odegard was hot from three-point range as the freshman scored six of the nine triples she attempted in Milwaukee’s two road wins. The forward averaged 10 points in two games with her 11 point, four rebounds and one block propelling the Panthers past the Crusaders on Saturday. This marks the third Freshman of the Week honor for Odegard on the campaign.

Cleveland State Women's Basketball

Jade Ely

Medium

Hometown: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Ely registered her second consecutive double-double in Cleveland State’s win over Youngstown State with 15 points and 15 rebounds and added five assists. The guard’s 15 boards are a season-high and the five helpers tied her season-best. The Pittsburgh native shot 6-13 from the floor in 35 minutes of play against the Penguins. This is the second time Ely has been recognized as Freshman of the Week on the year.

Mehryn Kraker

Medium

Hometown: West Allis, Wisconsin

Kraker was on fire shooting 17-24 from the field including 7-10 from behind the arc in the squad’s first two Horizon League games. In Green Bay’s two wins, the guard averaged 22.5 points on 70.8 percent shooting in 27.5 minutes. The fifth-year senior tallied 17 points (7-9 shooting) with five assists and three steals in 25 minutes versus the Norse. Against Wright State, the West Allis native went off for a season-high 28 points in 30 minutes of play.

Oakland Women's Basketball

Hannah Little

Medium

Hometown: Rochester Hills, Michigan

Little filled up the box score in Oakland’s 79-55 win over Vermont. The senior reached a double-double in the first half with 10 points and 12 rebounds, her fourth double-double on the year. The forward finshed the game one steal shy of a triple-double with 22 points, 17 rebounds, nine steals, and five assists in 36 minutes of play. Little’s points, rebounds, steals and free throws made (12) were all career-highs.


Cleveland State Women's Basketball

Jade Ely

Medium

Hometown: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

In her first game in the starting lineup, Ely tallied her first career double-double with 17 points, 10 rebounds, and two steals in 32 minutes of play. The guard’s point and rebound totals were bests in both categories on the year as Cleveland State chalked up a road win over Bowling Green. This is the first Freshman of the Week honor Ely has notched on the year.

Ashanti Abshaw

Medium

Hometown: Cleveland Heights, Ohio

Abshaw exploded for 28 points in Cleveland State’s lone game on the week against Bucknell. The sophomore notched four treys on seven attempts and shot 11-23 for the game. Additionally the forward grabbed four rebounds and recorded three steals. This was the fifth 20-point performance for Abshaw on the season, and her first Player of the Week honor on the year.

Mary Dunn

Medium

Hometown: Washington, Pennsylvania

Dunn matched her career-high with 19 points against Cornell in 21 minutes of play. The forward shot 8-17 from the floor and pulled down five boards against Cornell. Dunn leads all freshman in the Horizon League in scoring, field goal percentage, and blocks. This is the third Freshman of the Week honor for Dunn on the season.

Mary Dunn

Hometown: Washington, Pennsylvania

Dunn registered a career-high 19 points on an efficient 9-14 shooting from the floor against Akron which is the most by a freshman Penguin since. Additionally the forward grabbed five rebounds and had two steals in the Penguins last second defeat. Against Akron, Dunn totaled 14 points to go along with a couple of rebounds. The freshman averaged 16.5 points on 61.5 percent shooting from the field in the two game span for the Penguins.

Jessica Lindstrom

Hometown: Superior, Wisconsin

Lindstrom notched two double-double games over the weekend as the Phoenix cruised to two straight road victories over Marquette and South Dakota State. The junior’s 24 points against Marquette was a career-high and she also tallied 12 rebounds and three steals on the evening. In the battle of the top mid-majors at South Dakota State, Lindstrom recorded 15 rebounds to go along with 14 points.

Anja Marinkovic

Medium

Hometown: Toronto, Ontario

Marinkovic recorded her best shooting performance on the year against Minnesota by scorching the Golden Gophers with 29 points on seven triples. The guard’s 3-point shooting help the Titan’s break the school record for the most 3-point baskets made (16) in a single game. This is the first Freshman of the Week honor that Marinkovic has received on the season.

Steph Kostowicz

Hometown: Franklin, Wisconsin

Steph Kostowicz was a big contributor in Milwaukee’s come-from-behind win over North Dakota State. The junior notched 26 points on 11-17 shooting from the floor to up her season average to 18.3 ppg. The forward also tallied eight rebounds while also tacking on four blocks and two steals on the defensive end. This is the Kostowicz’s first Player of the Week honor and the Panthers second consecutive honor with Jenny Lindner picking up the award last week.

Lizzie Odegard

Medium

Hometown: Minnetonka, Minnesota

Lizzie Odegard was also a big factor in the Panthers going undefeated on the week. The forward shot an efficient 6-8 from the field for 14 points against Vermont and registered seven rebounds. Odegard also drained both triples that she attempted. This is the second Freshman of the Week honor that Odegard has received on the year.


Milwaukee Women's Basketball

Jenny Lindner

Medium

Hometown: Neillsville, Wis.

Jenny Lindner was a force for Milwaukee as she recorded a double-double against Wisconsin with 28 points, 11 boards and four assists on the night. Her performance included a near 50 percent shooting (9-19) from the field as well as a perfect 9-9 clip from the charity stripe in Milwaukee’s blowout victory over the Badgers. The junior also played well over the weekend at the TD Bank Classic for Milwaukee leading the team in total points (29) for the squad’s two wins.

Jessica Lindstrom

Hometown: Superior, Wisconsin

Lindstrom had a strong performance on the road against the No. 1 team in the nation, Notre Dame. The junior recorded her second double-double tallying 20 points and 16 rebounds in 39 minutes of play. The forward shot 8-13 from the field including 4-7 from three. Lindstrom also tallied an assist, a block, and a steal as the Phoenix came up just short 71-67 versus the Fighting Irish.

Mary Dunn

Hometown: Washington, Pennsylvania

Mary Dunn recorded her first career start against Pittsburgh as she notched eight points and seven rebounds. The forward also contributed for the Penguins in Hawaii with 14 points in 17 minutes facing the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors, and stuffed the stat sheet versus Sacramento State as she scored 15 points, grabbed six rebounds, and registered four blocks as Youngstown State obtained their first win on the campaign.

Milwaukee Women's Basketball

Lizzie Odegard

Medium

Hometown: Minnetonka, Minnesota

Odegard made her collegiate debut on Sunday and recorded five points and five rebounds in 14 minutes of action. Most of the freshman's production came down the stretch as Milwaukee pulled away from Western Illinois in the final minutes to start their season off with a 1-0 record.

Jessica Lindstrom

Hometown: Superior, Wisconsin

Lindstrom had a very efficient two games for the Phoenix averaging a double-double over 15.5 minutes of play. The junior shot 12-19 in the two game stretch for a 63.2 field goal percentage including 50 percent (3-6) from behind the arc to help Green Bay start out with two wins against Elon and Little Rock on the campaign.

Wright State Women's Basketball

Kim Demmings

Medium

Hometown: Richmond, Ind.

The senior went for 18 points, four steals and three assists versus Southeastern Louisiana to start the week. She then continued to produce for the Raiders as she tallied 28 points and eight rebounds versus ranked Iowa and 14 points over Houston the following day. In the Raiders’ key upset win over #24/23 George Washington, Demmings went for a season-high of 32 points, with 14 of those coming in the fourth quarter and 21 altogether in the second half to help ignite the upset win.


Wright State Women's Basketball

Emily Vogelpohl

Medium

Hometown: Cincinnati, Ohio

Vogelpohl also played a key role in Wright State’s success this past week as the freshman averaged 15.0 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 3.8 apg and 3.8 spg. Vogelpohl posted 17 points with four triples, five steals and five assists against Southeastern Louisiana. The freshmen went on to record strong numbers facing Iowa with 15 points, five steals and three assists and Houston with 11 points.

Northern Kentucky Women's Basketball

Molly Glick

Medium

Hometown: Fostoria, Ohio

Glick posted two strong performances for the Norse over the week and recorded 9.5 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 1.5 apg and 1.0 spg averages. The freshman posted her second consecutive double-digit outing with 11 points against Cincinnati while shooting .364 percent (8-for-22) from the field in the two games. In addition, six of Glick’s eight rebounds were on the offensive glass to slot her 10th in the Horizon League in offensive rebounds.


Wright State Women's Basketball

Kim Demmings

Medium

Hometown: Richmond, Ind.

Demmings week was highlighted at the Lipscomb game where she became Wright State’s all-time leading scorer with her 27 point performance in addition to grabbing 10 rebounds to tab the double-double. Facing Kent State, Demmings dropped her first double-double of the week with 26 points, 14 rebounds while adding six assists. The senior closed out her impressive seven days by tabbing 24 points, eight rebounds and four assists versus Austin Peay.

Oakland Women's Basketball

Taylor Jones

Medium

Hometown: Detroit, Mich.

Jones posted a game-high 23 points in her first-ever collegiate game for the Golden Grizzlies while going 10-for-15 from the floor against UM-Dearborn. The freshman also tallied seven rebounds and another game-high five steals off the bench in her 18 minutes of work. Two days later versus Central Michigan, Jones once again led the squad in points with 23 on 8-of-9 shooting. Overall for the weekend, she posted a 75.0 field goal percentage and 62.5 3-point field goal percentage.

Kaili Lukan

Medium

Hometown: Barrie, Ontario

Lukan led the Phoenix as she recorded the second double-double of her career with a game-high 22 points and 10 rebounds. The senior shot 47.1 percent from the field (8-for-17) while netting three of five from behind the arc. In addition, Lukan paced the Phoenix in steals with three and blocks (2). Lukan’s first double-double came against South Dakota State in 2013 where she scored 14 points and grabbed 10 rebounds on the road for Green Bay.

Steph Kostowicz

Medium

Hometown: Franklin, Wis.

Kostowicz worked her way into the starting lineup and averaged a double-double over the week for the Panthers. The freshman posted her first career double-double versus Detroit tabbing season-highs of 18 points and 13 rebounds. Over the two contests, Kostowicz averaged 14.0 points per game, 10.5 rebounds per game and 1.4 assists per game.


Wright State Women's Basketball

Tay'ler Mingo

Medium

Hometown: Akron, Ohio

Mingo led Wright State in the two games averaging per game 25.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.0 steals. The senior went 9-for-16 from the field and 8-of-13 from the charity stripe versus UIC to tab 27 points. Mingo also grabbed six rebounds during the contests in addition to her four assists and three steals. On Saturday against Milwaukee, Mingo hit 20-plus points in the contest as she compiled 24 points, 16 of which came during the second half.

Hometown: Niellsville, Wis.

Lindner posted impressive numbers for the Panthers throughout the week averaging 15.5 ppg and 9.0 rpg. The freshman slotted her second-career double-double in the victory over Cleveland State with 20 points and a career-high 12 rebounds. The contest marked Lindner’s second game with an output of 20-plus points. In the loss to UIC, she picked up 11 points and garnered six boards for the Panthers.
